This year the Scouts chose to go back to Camp Read in Brant Lake again. Here is everything you need to know:
Camp will start on Sunday July 27 and we will return on Saturday August 2.
We will be camping at the Buckskin - Wyandot campsite.
All meals will be provided at the dining hall and there is a General Store for everything else we need to survive the week
The cost per Scout will $645
The Greater Hudson Valley Council offers grants and additional funding to offset the costs. An application can be downloaded here. Follow the instructions and email or mail back to GHV. The funds will show up in your online camp account. Do this ASAP, while funds are available!
March 31 - There is a $100 deposit per scout. ASM Bill B. will be responsible for keeping track of funds for camp.
April 1 - Merit Badge selection opens at 6AM. See schedule below.
May 15 - Remaining Scout Balance is due.
July 1 - 2025 Scouting America Medical Form, Parts A & B & C must be filled out and provided to ASM Bill B. Download the forms here. You cannot attend camp unless we have these forms with us!
